Deleting your account and how your data is handled

How to delete the account

On the website

1. Sign in to your account at stopyvsrdci.cz.
2. Open the My account section and choose Settings.
3. At the bottom of the page you will find the Deleting the account section with an overview of what you will lose by deleting it.
4. Confirm with your password and click Delete the account permanently.

In the mobile app

1. Open Profile.
2. Choose Deleting the account.
3. Confirm with your password – the account and the data will be removed immediately.

Cannot access your account?

If you cannot sign in, write to us from the e-mail address the account is registered with, at podpora@stopyvsrdci.cz.

Which data is deleted

We remove the following immediately and irreversibly:

• your personal details – name, e-mail, phone, billing and delivery address and the backup contact,
• sign-in details including the links to Apple, Google, Facebook and Seznam accounts,
• memorials that have not been paid for (those created during the trial period, for example), including all photographs, videos, sound recordings and animations,
• QR code files that have not been activated,
• unused animation credits.

Which data remains

We are obliged to keep some data, or it cannot be removed without harming third parties:

• Memorials that have been paid for and activated remain publicly available. The QR code is physically engraved on the headstone, and invalidating it would cut the bereaved family and visitors to the cemetery off from content that matters to them. The memorial can no longer be edited, however.
• Invoices, orders and payment documents are kept for the period laid down by the Accounting Act and the VAT Act (10 years). They are held without any link to your closed account.
• We keep an irreversible fingerprint of the e-mail address so that the free trial period cannot be used repeatedly. The original address cannot be worked out from the fingerprint and it serves no other purpose.

How long data is kept

• Personal data and unpaid content: removed immediately when the account is deleted.
• Accounting documents: 10 years from the end of the tax period in which they were issued.
• Fingerprint of the e-mail address: for as long as the service is operated.
