How the trial period works

Free registration
Create an account with an e-mail address, or sign in through Google, Facebook or Seznam.cz. Registration takes less than a minute.

Creating a QR code and a memorial
In your account area, click "Create a new QR code". This step automatically activates your 60-day trial period.

Adding content
Upload photographs, write the life story, memories and other texts. The memorial is hidden by default, so you have time to prepare everything at your own pace.

Publishing the memorial
When you are happy with the content, switch the memorial to "Publish". From that moment it is accessible to the public and fully working.

Downloading the QR code
In the QR code settings you will find a "Downloads" section, where you can download the QR code in various formats for your own printing or other use.

Printing and use
You can print the QR code yourself and place it on a headstone, in a frame, on a funeral notice or wherever you see fit.
More than just a memorial
Stopy v srdci also thinks about what comes after the memorial has been created – so that you do not forget anything important and can always find your way to the grave easily.
Navigation to the grave
Part of the project is a database of more than 26,000 cemeteries in Czechia, Slovakia and Poland. Thanks to our own map data and navigation, the app will take you comfortably to the grave itself, even at a large unfamiliar cemetery.
Keeping track of the grave plot lease
In your account you can record the grave plot – the grave number, the cemetery administration and the date up to which it is paid. The app will notify you in good time: 90 days and 30 days before the lease ends, an e-mail will come to you (and to your backup contact person, if you have one) so that you do not forget to renew it.
Backup contact person
You can name a backup contact person who will be informed at important moments – before the ten-year activation of the memorial ends, for example, or before the grave plot lease expires. That way the memory stays in good hands.

In the QR code settings you have several formats available. You can print the QR code yourself on an ordinary printer or have it printed at a copy shop.

A printing tip: For the best results we recommend printing the QR code on waterproof material or laminating it. The minimum size for reliable scanning is roughly 4×4 cm, the optimal one 6×6 cm or more.

No commitment and completely open
The trial period really does come with no commitment. After 60 days nothing is charged automatically – you decide yourself whether you want to continue.
What happens during the trial period
Day 30 – A reminder
We will send you an e-mail letting you know that half of the trial period has passed.
Day 53 – A notice
You will receive a notice that the trial period is coming to an end, with the option to activate the service.
Day 60 – The end of the trial period
The memorials become invisible to the public. You still have 7 days of extra time for activation.
Day 67 – Deletion of the data
If you do not activate the service, the QR code and all the memorials including the photographs will be permanently deleted.
Every user can use the trial period only once. We therefore recommend using the full 60 days to try the service out thoroughly.

The package with a printed QR code costs 3,390 Kč, the package with a glass plaque ready to install costs 3,990 Kč – the price includes 3 active memorials for 10 years. Under a single QR code you can have an unlimited number of memorials; each additional active memorial costs 499 Kč for 10 years, that is less than 50 Kč a year. All payments are one-off – no annual fees and no subscription.
